Luxurious pamper – L’Occitane Ultra rich body cream

Hey guys, I hope you’re all doing well! Spring has finally reached us and it’s the time when most people switch to lighter lotions, body sorbets or skip body moisturizing whatsoever. However, if your skin like mine needs rich moisturizers all year long or you just like to pamper yourself with a luxurious product once in a while then this body cream might be for you!

L’Occitane Ultra rich body cream is formulated with 25% (!) shea butter as well as linseed, sweet almond and honey extracts and apricot oil. That is A LOT of goodness in one pot, may I just say. The cream has rich but soft consistency and it’s not oily – for me personally it’s very important as I can’t stand a greasy film on my skin. Instead, it sinks in quickly and leaves the skin super soft and moisturized. On top of that the smell is just beautiful – L’Occitane is famous for that and I love all their ranges but the shea butter one is my favourite. It has the classic, high-end natural moisturizer scent that is super clean and fresh but at the same time soft and warm, like fresh sheets.

I love that the cream is very rich and restoring but at the same time not too heavy and it doesn’t clog pores, unlike some body butters do. If you add the cashmere-soft consistency and gorgeous smell that make the application pure pleasure I think it’s one of the best body products on the market currently and I was not surprised to find out that it won Elle Beauty Awards this year!

As always I have to mention the price – 155PLN (44$ in Sephora US) is a lot to for a body product, especially if you, like me, slather yourself in those generously. However, if you can afford it and want to treat yourself for a bit of luxurious pampering, I highly recommend it!

Have you tried this body cream? What are your favourite L’Occitane products?
